新中国第一位女厂长，是聂卫平的母亲沙平。
沙平生于1919年。
“七七事变”后，她奔赴延安参加革命，先后在抗大、中央党校学习，后来到《中国妇女》杂志社工作。
1950年，沙平任沈阳（辽宁省沈阳市）第三机床厂厂长。

New China’s First Female Factory Director
New China’s first female factory director Sha Ping was the mother of the famous go game champion Nie Weiping.
She was born in 1919.
She went to Yan An for chasing red revolution and had studied in China’s People Anti-Japan Millitary and Political University and Central Party School then worked in ‘Chinese Women’ magazine.
Sha Ping became Shen Yang Third Machinery Factory director in 1950.
