中国最早的美术作品是存于兰州的大地湾原始先民地画。
大地湾原始社会遗址距今5000多年，这幅地画发现于遗址的一座房子内，位于房门、土灶之后的地面正中，用黑炭绘成，约1平方米。
左边为侧人像，双腿相靠，右边为正面人像，双腿呈交叉状，下部画一长方框状物，内画两爬行动物。
China’s Earliest Art Works
China’s earliest art works was the original inhabitants land painting of the Earth Bay.
The Earth Bay(Dadiwan) Primitive Society Ruins was 5,000 years ago. The art works was discovered in a house of the ruins, in the middle of ground, behind the door and the soil stove.
It was drawn by black carbon, with area about one square meter.
The right of it was the portrait with cross-shaped legs. The left of it was the side face of another portrait with legs together. And the lower part of the painting was a long box with the two reptiles inside it.
